The operative holding company of the MEWA group is the Gabriele Gebauer MEWA Stiftung. It is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of three members. The Board of Directors of the holding company prescribes and assures the strategic alignment of the MEWA Group. To do this the Board of Directors is in direct contact with the management organisations of the 44 individual companies. The individual companies implement the strategic guidelines from the holding company in their respective areas of responsibility.
MEWA Textile-Service AG is connected to the holding company on the control level with the Supervisory Board. The Chairwomen of both bodies is the Main Shareholder Gabriele Gebauer. Thus the Group ensures that the long-term objectives of the MEWA family business are also in focus at all times.
