Access to the website
when a user accesses a MEWA website and at call up of a file, data concerning this procedure is stored in a log file. Use of personal data does not occur.
Personal data is collected when you communicate personal data to us in a contact form on the website intended for this purpose or when you contact us via email. In this manner you can enter into contact with us, request information from us or participate in prize competitions. You can freely decide whether to communicate information to us and what information you communicate to us via the possibilities described above. In this respect, the collective personal data particularly includes your contact data, such as first name, last name, company address, email address and telephone number as well as an optional fax number. Moreover there is additional data such as the number of employees in the company and your function within the company in order to better process your inquiry.
In the MEWA Shop you can place orders, initiate returns, repairs or change orders, and avail yourself of additional online services. As part of the registration as a myMEWA user we collect personal data, such as first name and last name, company address, your function in the company, email address and telephone number. As a registered user, via a username and a password you have access to your customer account, in which, among other things, you can change the customer master data.
In addition, for the processing of purchase orders we collect data concerning the bank account of your company and save contract-relevant information, such as ordered items, purchase price, delivery and payment modalities. We use the data cited above and fulfilling the contract purpose, in particular for processing the purchase orders managing the customer relationship, delivering the goods and payment processing and for this purpose if necessary forward this data to service partners that MEWA uses for contract processing (e.g. credit institutes).
MEWA online job application
You can submit your job application documents to us online. To do this you can either fill out a contact form with personal information (first name, last name, address, telephone numbers, date of birth and email address) as well as information concerning hiring preferences professional career, school-leaving qualification, training/academic studies, professional experience, languages, IT expertise and other expertise), or you can enter this data in an online application form. In the online application form personal information is collected (first name, last name, address, date of birth, place of birth2 and email address) as well as information concerning your reason for applying, schooling, professional training, academic studies, practical experience, language expertise, IT expertise and other expertise. In addition you can upload your application cover letter and your CV. The data collected as part of the online application will be stored on behalf of the MEWA company issuing the job advertisement on the basis of order processing as stipulated in § 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act by Knowledge Network GmbH for the duration of the application procedure or – if desired – for consideration in future job advertisements in the MEWA Group. With consideration of your application for future job advertisements, you can declare your consent on the basis of the following declaration of consent:
"I consent that within a period of 12 months my application can also be considered for other job advertisements issued by companies of the MEWA group in Germany, as well as in other European countries and non-European countries, and stored for this purpose. If I should not agree, I can at any time request deletion of my data via email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org."
If you have declared that you do not consent to consideration for future job advertisements, your application data will be deleted after the application procedure is concluded.
MEWA Textil-Service AG & Co Management OHG headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany is responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data as part of the online presence. In the case of inquiries, online job applications or purchase orders in the MEWA Shop your data will be forwarded to the respective MEWA company that is responsible for the processing of your purchase order or inquiry, or for the job advertisement, as the responsible entity for further processing.
The respective MEWA company uses the data to process your inquiry, purchase order, or application and for its own advertising and marketing purposes, e.g. for the sending of information and quotations concerning MEWA products and services via regular mail, telephone or email, and also only if you have not objected to this use. If your consent is required in this regard – for example for the sending of newsletters – we obtain your consent beforehand. Your data will not forwarded to third parties outside of the MEWA group for autonomous, promotional targeting by third parties.
3. Cookies and web controlling

For purposes of marketing and optimization on individual pages of the website www.mewa.de, products and services of WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de) can be used.
